2022 Chevy Bolt EUV Charges Onto Scene With Upgraded Interior, Revolutionary Super Cruise, Interior Improvements

The all-electric Chevy Bolt has been updated for 2022, and all of us here at the Mid-Missouri Powerhouse are eager to see the interior improvements. The five-passenger EUV is a bit larger and features better technology than its predecessor.

The EUV is about six inches longer than the Bolt, providing three more inches of legroom for rear-seat passengers. There is an all-new seat design that features additional padding, and the luxury of heated and ventilated front seats is available. The rear bench is a 50/50 split fold-down design with a built-in center armrest. On the dash is an 8.0-inch color gauge cluster and 10.2-inch touchscreen providing access to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Alexa, Spotify, and The Weather Channel.

As you enjoy the absence of trips to the gas pump, you’ll benefit from wireless cell phone charging, automatic emergency braking, a high-def rear vision camera, lane keep assist, forward collision alert, automatic high beams, and front pedestrian braking. Available driver-assists include a surround-view camera, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and Super Cruise, the hands-free driver assist that takes care of steering for you.

There is a new toggle switch to select park, drive, and reverse that leaves a good amount of space in the center console. The redesigned interior features brand-new display screens, a stylish toggle gear selector, and upped overall quality of the soft-touch materials for a much more premium look. On the flat-bottom steering wheel, there is a regen braking on-demand paddle. Also on the wheel: a crisp black Chevy bowtie logo.

The Bolt EUV can regain an impressive 95 miles of range in 30 minutes with a DC fast charger. The tradition and appeal of the gas-powered engine will linger for quite some time, but as soon as you experience the convenience of knocking out your to-do list on electricity alone, you'll agree the benefits of the future are the solutions to problems of the present!
