2022 Chevy Traverse Leads Mid-Winter Model Pack With Spacious and Comfortable Interior, Intuitive Tech, Punchy V6

With roomy seating and cargo space, an awesome intuitive touch screen, a gentle ride, and a powerful V6 engine, the 2022 Chevy Traverse is an excellent option to take home from the Mid-Missouri Powerhouse! It boasts a huge interior with room for up to 8 passengers plus all cargo, and it’s even comfortable to drive on less-than-stellar roads. Though not quite as large and burly as the Tahoe and Suburban, the Traverse is a spacious three-row crossover that underwent a massive facelift for the 2022 model.

This year’s Traverse sees the addition of front and rear-end styling, standard LED headlights and taillights, four new wheel designs, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and newly standard driver-assist safety features. During the Motor Trend drive test, the 2022 Traverse impressed with its remarkably smooth ride characteristics and body control. The standard 310-horsepower V6 and 9-speed automatic offer strong acceleration and smooth and responsive shifts, along with intuitive infotainment that rounds out a well-equipped cabin.

The assortment of included safety content for this year provides automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane keep assist, automatic high beams, and a following distance indicator. Adaptive cruise control is now available on 3LT, RS, and Premier trims, and High Country models. You’ll be enjoying seating for 7 or 8 across three rows, and legroom that measures 41 inches up front, 38.4 inches in the second row, and 33.5 inches for those in the back.

The Traverse offers more cargo space than ANY vehicle in its segment. The space behind the third-row bench is rated at 23.0 cubic feet and expands up to 57.8 and 98.2 cubes with the second and third-row seats folded down. Base models still are equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen display with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and higher trims will retain the 8.0-inch system.

Three-row crossovers such as the new Traverse remain competitive and sought-after. The Premier Trim is one of the sweet spots of the lineup, boasting chrome door handles and roof rails, a hands-free liftgate, power-adjustable steering wheel, ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats. The High Country is the peak, featuring trailering enhancements such as the hitch, upgraded system and panoramic sunroof, as well as the power-folding third-row seat. Visit the Mid Missouri Powerhouse to test drive your Traverse today!

J.D. Power’s 2022 Dependability Study Ranks Chevy Among Top Brands

Chevy was ranked well in the 2022 J.D. Power U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study, with GM’s mass-market brand earning high marks this year. This annual study takes 184 specific problem areas across nine vehicle categories into consideration, allowing customers to see just what features are best as they make their decision to purchase.

Driving experience, exterior, features and displays, infotainment options, interior, powertrain, along with HVAC and climate and seating are elements surveyed while customers reflect on what makes an ideal driving experience come together for them. This year’s study analyzed a different number of responses on vehicles from 2019, and took into consideration the problems per 100 vehicles. This provides a representation of various problems experienced by owners gauging how the vehicle meets their needs.

Chevy earned a solid, respectable PP100 score of 171 in this study, placing it ahead of Mazda, Lincoln, BMW, Ford, GMC, and many more brands. This study counts even the smallest of infotainment problems or other issues, making for incredibly thorough results. The Chevy Suburban specifically stood out, as customers driving the model daily took a liking to its expectation-exceeding performance.

It's no surprise that the 2022 Suburban was such a hit in many ways, as it offers swift acceleration, a firm and polished ride, expansive seating and cargo space, and the industry’s latest and greatest in safety and tech features. Boasting seating for 7 to 9 occupants and more cargo space than any other SUV on the market, a great deal of useful tech and driver assistance features also come as standard. The 10.2-inch touchscreen is a current favorite, as so many drivers are understandably on the hunt for ease and convenience.

With trusted auto review entities such as U.S. News backing it, the Suburban rolls on, leading a star-studded Chevy lineup we love to show customers each year. Now is the best time to trade in your used car at high value and see what a great deal you’ll get on something newer and more reliable! Come see us at the Powerhouse this February to check out the Tahoe, Traverse, Silverado, Camaro, Equinox and more!

2022 Chevy Camaro Remains “Powerful in all Forms”

The Camaro coupe and convertible resonate well while echoing the feel of the 1960s but has many ties to the current day. The 2022 Chevy Camaro has fierce rivals including the Ford Mustang, Dodge Challenger, BMW Z4, and Toyota Supra. The Camaro can be quick and agile on the track where it’s best at home, and the 1LE package is now limited to the V8 Camaro SS and ZL1.

Every Camaro fan from the Mid-Missouri Powerhouse has had so much to enjoy for 2022 models, which can still hurtle forward quite well with the 275-hp turbo. This can reach 60 mph in just 5.4 seconds flat. After being fitted with the 1LE package, it blends with the pavement on the track with the flavor and flair of the Camaro’s large-sized motor and gusto. What we believe that so many hardcore muscle fans love about the Camaro is that it is still a proven car of the Sixties, with crash-test scores that are still decent for the day’s demands.

Sleek and with a body made exclusively for showing off, there was an interior with proportions nailed down flat, and the true essence of driving a Hot Wheels car. We agree with The Car Connection when they claimed the V-8 power and extra-strength grip usher the Camaro through the tightest corners you’ll find. Even the 275-hp 2.0-liter Turbo-4 in the base car twists out 295 lb-ft of torque, also brandishing a 0-60 mph time of just 5.4 seconds. Mid-line Camaros all receive 335-hp 3.6-liter V6 engines, allowing the symphonic muscle car soundtrack to be in place of the 6-speed manual.

The ultimate Camaro with the LT1 and SS Coupes showcases a 455-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 cranking out 455 lb.-ft of torque and blasting up to 60 mph in just 4.0 second runs. ZL1 models brandish the ultimate superpower in the form of a 650 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft of torque supercharger whine, blasting up to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and conquering the quarter mile in 11.4 seconds.

The Camaro’s hefty electric assist-power steering has available magnetic campers that carry out the duty of perfect balance agility with superior ride quality. The 1LE package is where things get track-tuned; you’ll be thankful that you took on the exhilarating extras! We ensure you will be a certified track star with stiffer suspension tuning, an electronic limited-slip differential, 6-piston front and 4-pistion rear Brembo brakes, and a dual-mode and tuned exhaust system.

C8 Corvette from Diamond Autosport is Far from Cookie-Cutter in Sensational Black-and-White Hue

We have long had an intent eye on the C8 Corvette here at the Mid-Missouri Powerhouse, where the good people from Diamond Autosport clearly have the angle on custom designs fully covered. This example of a C8 Corvette showcases glossy black assets riding on a lowered set of matching black AG Luxury forged wheels. This was a first for many to check out, as AGL usually is fitted on large exotics instead of “America’s sports car through and through”.

The look is decidedly urban yet still one of a kind, and this is the stuff that “Neo Grand-Theft Auto” and breezy palms in Miami personas come from. The Corvette C8 is standing by to conquer your favorite backroads with its 6.2-Liter V8 LT2 engine, 490 horsepower, and 465 lb-ft of torque. You can opt for the Bose premium 10-speaker system, Chevy infotainment 3 system, along with standard 8-way power GT1 seat and power tilt and telescopic steering column. The mid-engine placement allows for the cowl, hood, and steering wheel to be much lower than normal- making your all-important forward vision clearer than it’s ever been before!

Three scavenge pumps are on board to work to pump oil from the engine, which ensures high oil quality. The flow is optimized towards critical areas during intense cornering and encountering g-force. The new Chevy Corvette’s superpower, appeal, and quality sets it so far apart from the competition that Car and Driver deemed it the best performance bargain on the market! It’s also known to be faster on the track than the Porsche Boxster and Cayman. There are now more customization options than ever before with choices for interior, brake-caliper paint, and even seatbelt colors in a high form of overabundance.

This year marks the ‘Vette’s 23rd time on the 10Best list which praised it heavily for impressive power, acceleration, high handling limits, and a very affordable price! This is the third year of the Corvette’s stunning and long-awaited rebirth, offering a mind-bending degree of quickness, precise handling, and significant comfort on the road. Even base versions of this Corvette are well-equipped to compete against the BMW M4 and Porsche 911.

If you’re looking to rock the house with premium sound, you can opt for the 14-speaker Bose audio system and wireless Android Auto, as well as Apple CarPlay connectivity that comes as standard. Laying its claim to being a massively supercharged bargain among performance cars, the interior looks and immediately feels premium. The 2LT Trim is a great place to start for overall value. If you are feeling the tracking vibe, the Z51 package is the best to enjoy upgraded brakes, performance suspension, aerodynamic enhancements, and the heaviest-duty cooling system in existence.
