One of the top-selling SUVs in our lineup here at the Mid-Missouri Powerhouse in Linn, Missouri is the Chevy Traverse, and it’s getting a complete redesign for 2024. Moving into its third generation after its 2009 introduction, the Traverse is our 3-row midsize SUV, slotted comfortably in between the Tahoe and Blazer. It’s clear that Chevrolet listened to drivers who wanted a more truck-like look, as the redesigned Traverse has a much more rugged look.

The larger grill features a bar that spans the width of the vehicle and a prominent Chevy bowtie. Distinctive LED headlights and taillights are now standard, as well as dual exhaust. It has been thrilling to witness all the many unique ways in which trims have developed to brandish their own personality, and the Traverse RS sweeps onto the scene with a sportier look. 2024 Chevy Trailblazer to be Officially Revealed Feb 8th

From full-sized trucks to economical crossover SUVs, the driving public is now enjoying a modern renaissance of offerings and cars for every type of buyer. GM Authority just provided the scoop on the current 3rd-generation Chevy Trailblazer, and learned that its mid-cycle model refresh reveal is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 8th.

Some of the items we expect are exterior styling revisions, brand new paint color options, new wheel designs, and a potential infotainment system update. Four of the new colors are Nitro Yellow Metallic, Fountain Blue, Sterling Gray Metallic, and Iridescent Pearl Tricoat. The first engine option is the turbocharged 1.2-liter Inline 3 LIH, rated at 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. The more powerful and potent option is the turbocharged 1.3-liter I3 L3T, cranking out 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. 

The U.S. News auto review team praised the 2023 Trailblazer for its generous seating space, cargo room, and standard features for a subcompact SUV. The Trailblazer offers one of the most responsive and engaging examples of driving within its segment. 2024 Chevy Trax Deemed “Best Entry-Level Vehicle in Many Years”, Offering Desired Features at Reasonable Bargain

GM president Mark Reuss had some incredibly high praise for the new Trax model over the past week, publicly claiming that it “is the finest entry-level” Chevy to be released in many years. During the 1940s the Chevrolet versions were equipped with a 216 cubic-inch 6-cylinder engine and shared a majority of its parts with the AK Series trucks. 

The Hydra-Matic 4-speed automatic transmission was available in GMC models beginning in 1953, and also in the 1954 Suburbans. These versions saw the front bench seat split with two seats on the drivers's side and a lone seat on the passenger's side that could slide forward to access the rear two rows. The last series to feature "Canopy Express" models, there was still a lot of true character shining through here, with very recognizable grilles and a friendly while powerful vibe. 

During the late 1950s, Suburban engines included both the I-6 and the small block V8, which both eventually evolved in the future to the 283 cubic-inch version. The 4-wheel-drive unit in 1957 added the numbers "3156" for panel-doored models, and "3166" for those sporting tailgates. Styling during the early 1960s boasted a brand-new front independent suspension as well as wrap-around windshields and panel door rear openings. Available transmissions were a 3-speed and 4-speed manual, the automatic Powerglide with GMC models toting the dual-range Hydramatic.

The Seventh Generation of Suburbans were produced from 1973 until 1993, and now had two doors on each side. The All-New 2018 Chevrolet Equinox

The 2018 Chevrolet Equinox is expected to make it’s public debut at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show. With tons of changes coming along with it, this highly-anticipated SUV is expected to hit the market in the beginning of 2017. The new design, added safety features and all-new propulsion systems will all work together to do the one thing a vehicle should do- meet every need of drivers and their passengers.

“The all-new 2018 Chevrolet Equinox is a modern SUV sized and designed to meet the needs of the compact SUV customer,” stated Alan Batey, president of GM North America and brand chief, Global Chevrolet. “We’ve got the strongest truck business in the industry and we’ve reinvigorated our car lineup with Volt, Cruze and Malibu. Now we are focusing on growing our crossover/SUV business, starting with the Chevrolet Equinox.”

The exterior of the 2018 Equinox has been totally revamped. Sleek, muscular lines and subtle details give the vehicle an overall richer image. Chrome trim has been added, in addition to projector-beam headlights and defining taillamps.

Inside, you will find the down-and-away instrument panel and lower windshield base- which offers impressive outward views. It also features Chevy’s latest technologies, like the MyLink infotainment system, which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
