2021 Chevy Suburban's New Exterior Addition Eyeful: Empire Beige Metallic Hue

The 2021 Chevy Suburban is our heavy-rolling, large-sized and hefty vehicle of choice here at the Mid-Missouri Powerhouse for any family or business with a penchant for reliability that is experiencing rapid growth. The incoming model offers a total of nine exterior colors, boasting four that are brand-new: Cherry Red Tintcoat, Midnight Blue Metallic, Graywood Metallic, and Empire Beige Metallic. Immediately when you pull up for a meeting or just the daily school drop-off, you're going to notice when those around you are admiring the way your ride looks, and that's always been part of the satisfaction!

The Empire Beige Metallic is a choice that will absolutely have those heads turning your way, staking its claim as one of the six neutral color options available for the 2021 Suburban. The other five in this category are Satin Steel Metallic, Shadow Gray Metallic, Black, Graywood Metallic, Iridescent Pearl Tricoat, and Summit White. More great news is that this is one of the colors included in the base price of the Suburban, and it is available with all interior color combinations and trim levels.

Production of the 2021 Chevy Suburban is now underway at the GM Arlington plant, which has been proudly rolling out all varieties of large vehicles for Chevy since 1954. Here 4,000+ dedicated employees work 3 shifts to produce roughly 1,200 vehicles each day. Just 4 years ago, the plant enjoyed the celebration of seeing its 10 millionth vehicle roll off the line, and it just happened to be a 2015 Chevy Suburban! There is a new independent rear suspension for the 2021 model that benefits overall ride as well as cargo capacity, and more legroom for rear passengers.

Many over the past few years had asked us about diesel option potential, and we wholeheartedly delivered: the newly available diesel engine provides the ultimate advantage for fuel range and towing ability. When you step into your brand-new Suburban you are taking the wheel of one of the very few truck-based SUVs still around, offering versatility, refinement, and a massive amount of passenger space. The 5.3-liter V8 that you'll encounter in most Suburbans generates 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, while the extra punch and audible difference from the 6.2-liter V8 taking up residence in the High Country trim will immediately make you grin.

While you're in motion, the engine is working overtime via smart technology that deactivates  selected cylinders to conserve fuel. Even with a brand-new design for the Suburban, there is a distinct vibe of familiarity, as not too many elements in the layout have seen too intense of a change compared to previous generations. For the first time, the Suburban now gets sliding second-row seats and optional power-folding for the rear seats that can be controlled from multiple spots inside. Additional USB ports assure that everyone onboard sees charging ability, and optional 12.6-inch LCD touchscreens with their own HDMI inputs are available to provide an extra entertainment option for those in the second row.
