2024 Chevrolet Colorado Bumps Up Torque and Tech for Exhilarating Performance

The Chevy Colorado’s coming 2024 model is destined to make all smaller-sized truck lovers stand up and take notice! Things have been simplified for use all around this year, but it’s the same awesome and unique truck that won so many over the past few years. Many days on the jobsite and weekend warrior’s path don’t always require a full-size presence, and the Colorado is the ultimate solution for the “lowcard yet aggro” stance. The lowest version in the form of the 390-lb ft of torque figure has now been axed, which was the 310-horsepower model.

In nearly every brand you look at right now screens have been getting bigger and bigger, as those along for the ride want the sizes boosted much like when people fell in love with classic video games! The 13-inch screen was no longer quite good enough for Space Invaders or Pac-Man. Even though we just dated some of our sales and service staff’s ages a bit, it was during that time that the 19-inch became the norm for home entertainment! Much in the same vein, “oh how much has changed” in the instrument display world as drivers are craving constant visual upgrades.

The Advanced Trailering Package now comes with Blind Zone Steering Assist and Trailering, which is one of the prominent outdoor-conquering features of the crawl-crazy ZR2 variant. The ZR2’s trail and overland-capable stance is boosted courtesy of its access to 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels with a Tech Bronze decorative ring. The Recovery Package is another addition that comes with the equipment that “unstuck dreams” are made of, providing rescue and lifting power for the instances where the elements render you temporarily bogged down.

Other very cool new options for the year include packages that add off-road lighting, kicker audio, hood decals, black side steps, and very stealth black badging for the tailgate. The WT, LT, and Z71 versions offer an available black Bowtie badge as part of the Dark Essentials Package. The high-output 2.7-liter engine is now referred to as the “TurboMax”, which is rated at 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. For all the heavy haulers out there on an asphalt-rich deadline, the 2024 model offers an optional Blind zone Steering Assist with Trailering. Industry legend Chad Hall smashed this year’s very demanding Vegas-to-Reno off-road race with a ZR2 Bison sporting racing safety mods.

The larger 11-inch screen displays all the vitals that keep you informed during each drive. Driver personalization, and warning messages in the vehicle information provide you with a few of the top-layer necessities, and a fully reconfigurable high-definition cluster layout makes navigating it all that much simpler. There are balanced and enhanced cluster layouts to choose from, and the reconfigurable display comes equipped with three very cool themes. The 2024 Colorado Bison is equipped with unique Beadlock-capable tires and wheels, a very protective boron steel skid plate, steel bumpers, and unique badging.

The Pickuptrucktalk.com blog reflected this past week that all these changes are aimed at reducing the complexity level of a daily drive and making sense for those on the assembly line. The Trail Boss trim has a much wider front and 9.4 inches of ground clearance, with 18-inch lightweight rims wrapped in 32-inch Goodyear Territory AT tires. The Realtruck.com blog claimed that the 2023 Colorado ZR2 is “hands-down the most exciting mid-sized truck on the market today, thanks to its stellar off-road capability, superb driving dynamics, and consistently fun-to-drive composure.”

Budget-Friendly Brilliance: The 2024 Chevy Equinox Defies Over-Hyped SUV Expectations!

Finding the lowest-priced SUV here at the Mid-Missouri Powerhouse is poised directly at the top of many of our customers’ wish lists! As we approach the 4th quarter, and after seeing an inflationary uptick during July, busy families and young professionals nationwide are on the hunt for an affordable vehicle that provides the features most important to them. Another sought-after trait is a model that allows a bit of much-needed breathing room for their other financial commitments. It is so very important to have a rock-solid warranty, favorable reliability ratings, and a viable resale value making things easier when it’s time to switch up.

Chevy has long understood the importance of affordability, and the 2024 Chevy Equinox boasts a thorough trim lineup, class-leading warranty, and reliability ratings that make for repeat buyers. Our best-selling SUV not only offers a competitive price, but also a long-lasting value proposition that gives back repeatedly during years of ownership. The bonus of class-leading fuel economy and some of the lowest maintenance costs in the industry are common traits throughout the Chevy lineup, but even more commonly present in our crossover SUV offerings.

Many compact SUV buyers are busy recent grads and commuters that are needing to save at the pump, along with growing families who are faced with the task of stretching the budget as far as possible. After scanning the most relevant data found on websites such as Consumer Reports and Kelley Blue Book, dealers everywhere have learned that car owners become very frustrated and distrustful when the fuel economy rating for their new vehicle turns out to be lower after real-life usage.

Inclement weather, elevation, and the ways drivers choose to go about their daily drive all are factors affecting fuel economy rating. The Equinox has fared so well in this department thanks to its very efficient 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, which is mated to a smooth-shifting 6-speed automatic transmission. Not tipping the scales too terribly at all with a 3,400-lb weigh-in, the Equinox does not suffer from the very common problem of being bogged down by architecture type. Industry experts Nerd Wallet found that the average cost of driving a single mile is around 17 cents, which Chevy used as a benchmark while undergoing development.

Selecting a vehicle such as the 2024 Equinox quickly sees you far ahead of the curve, since the EPA’s “fuel efficient” rating is reserved for vehicles with a fuel rating of 22 mpg or more. As we watched the digital newswires for more post-test-drive findings from the Equinox, Car and Driver chimed in and was very pleased with its “easy to drive” demeanor along with very precise steering. We have long made new owners incredibly happy with our factory warranty coverage: here you can rely on a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, and a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain limited warranty covering the transmission and engine.

Our first free maintenance visit will see you covered at the most important “Getting acquainted with your car” interval with an oil change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection. More than 200,000 buyers chose to drive off the lot with a brand-new Equinox last year, and additions such as the Driver Confidence II Package made the decision that much easier. This adds lane-change alert, rear-cross traffic alert, and front and rear parking sensors, along with the very useful blind spot monitor. The three top trims also offer heated front seats as standard, while the Premier includes heated outboard rear seats along with a heated steering wheel that will be very appreciated during the cold weather now just a few months away!

Safety First, Adventure Always: Discover The Innovative & Versatile 2024 Chevy Traverse

The midsize SUV segment is one that so many busy families AND young professionals are eying closely as the back-to-school season hits here at the Mid-Missouri Powerhouse. Completely redesigned and flaunting a bold stance and more horsepower, the 2024 Chevy Traverse is well-positioned to dominate in a very competitive segment, while eagerly catching the attention of new customers with the very capable Z71 model. Crossovers have become quite urban and always eager to blend in, and the new Traverse has been expertly engineered to drive like an all-hands-on-deck SUV.

Each trim derives power from an all-new 2.5-liter turbocharged engine that cranks out 315 horsepower, along with a hearty 19% torque increase up to 317 lb-ft. The Z71 has a bullseye pinned on the harder-to-reach far corners of Missouri such as the Allen Branch FS and Knob Lick Tower Road, which it will have no problem handling with its off-road capable twin-clutch AWD system. Max trailering rating is a figure that many drivers who have bounced over the most treacherous ruts out there pay attention to, and the Traverse will make them grin while it tips these particular scales at 5,000 lbs.

The Z71 was developed after closely observing just how well-equipped a model must be now to properly claim an expert “trail-rated” stance. The features that boost rugged capability included as standard begin with the 1-inch increased ground clearance, boasting increased track width to boost stability. Any surface you choose to ravage is handled with all-terrain tires paired with 18-inch wheels, exclusively designed for the Z71. As things inevitably “slow to a crawl”, the unique dampers with hydraulic rebound control assist with each square inch of terrain navigation.

Hill Descent Control consistently shows up with boss-grade chops when it comes to maintaining vehicle speed, providing another sweet feature that enables you to keep your eyes on the road while worrying less about the small stuff. The availability to upgrade to a few features that improve safety has been incredibly well-received by drivers and improves even more on the 2024 model. You can sensibly opt for Rear Park Assist, a Safety Alert Seat, an HD Rear Vision Camera, HD Surround Vision, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, and the urban driver’s ultimate aid in the form of Side Bicyclist Alert.

The Buckle to Drive feature also now comes as standard on all Traverse trims and firmly requires the front-seat passenger and driver to be buckled before embarking on the trip. NHTSA findings from 2021 showed the public the startling fact that nearly half of the over 26,000 people killed on American roads were not buckled in, which provides even more reason to appreciate these modern features on board. The Midnight and Sport Edition additives are now available on the LS and LT trim, and you’ll love the unique walk-up lighting animation that greets you as you approach.

This year’s model marks the first time that there’s an available AutoSense Liftgate on the Traverse, and you also can choose from the awesome new Lakeshore Blue, Stardust, and Harvest Bronze exterior colors. It’s no secret that drivers are collectively going crazy over screens, as they seem to get larger every year. The Traverse is no exception, as the best-in-class standard 17.7-inch diagonal color touchscreen on board is more than twice as large as the unit in last year’s model. You can choose from seven passenger configurations, with the second-row captain’s chairs featuring SmartSlide, providing much-appreciated easier access to the third row.

Revolutionizing the Road: 2024 Chevy Colorado Unveils Ultifi Software Platform

The Chevy Colorado has always drawn an incredible amount of positive attention and curiosity here at the Mid-Missouri Powerhouse, and the amazing team on duty at the GM Authority blog just released an exciting news tidbit about the 2024 model! It will now be equipped with the Ultifi end-to-end vehicle software platform; at the same time, it will be introduced in the 2024 GMC Canyon in the big red vehicle lineup. Ultifi is powered by the Vehicle Intelligence Platform, which was developed by GM as a platform-supporting way to customize vehicle functions to the extreme.

Making the content of Sci-Fi movies a productive and fascinating reality, Ultifi could potentially offer features such as starting the 2024 Chevy Colorado when facial recognition technology can properly identify drivers. Drivers may also see amazing advances such as seamless communication with the owner’s smart home to interact with security settings and climate control, as well as a “teen driver” mode. In addition to featuring Ultifi on the technology suite, the 2024 Chevy Colorado will also introduce the range-topping ZR2 Bison, which boasts legendary off-road capability and over-landing chops.

The Bison was made possible through a partnership with American Expedition Vehicles, along with expert input from off-road racing guru Chad Hall. Rubicon Testing has also gone to the extreme during the intense vetting of the Bison, employing power quality verification, infrared thermography, ground system testing, and QA/QC verifications to ensure the electrical installation is up to code. A lifted suspension provides 12.2 inches of ground clearance that comes in very handy while navigating the trickiest of terrain.

A winch-capable AEV heavy-duty front bumper, 35-inch OD Mud-Terrain tires on 17-inch AEV beadlock-capable wheels, and Boron steel skid plates and rocker protectors are a few of the other bulletproof and massively trail-rated pieces of equipment rendering the Bison so incredibly prepped for the wild. One of the premier power sources for the 2023 Chevy Colorado is the potent and feisty turbocharged 2.7-liter I4 L2R gas engine, cranking out 237 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The more powerful engine is the turbocharged 2.7-liter inline 4 L3B gas engine, which ups the ante with 310 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque.

A thrilling world of adventure and power is at your disposal with the Chevy Colorado, which can conquer everything from the open road to remote and harrowing trails far off the beaten path. Stepping up from the WT to the Luxury Truck offers a higher level of comfort and convenience, boasting upgraded interior materials, advanced technology, and additional high-end comforts. The Z71 trim is perfect for the truck lover who plans on packing their compass and gear bag for extended intervals off pavement boasting rugged all-terrain tires and expertly-tuned suspension.

With gear ratios perfectly tailored to push the highest levels of performance, the Hydra-Matic 8-speed automatic transmission keeps you in complete control whether you are crawling over intense obstacles or enjoying thrilling bursts of acceleration on the open road. The Bison’s Multimatic Jounce Control Dampers provide the greatest of well-tuned capability in brutal environments. Equipped with power-locking front and rear differentials, these trucks ensure maximum maneuverability and traction and can conquer any threatening obstacles in your path. Durable skid plates on the underside provide class-leading protection for the fuel tank, transfer case, and engine.

2024 Chevy Trax Rules Crossover Class W/ Unrivaled Value, Spirited Performance

As we approach the Fall quarter but are still situated within the active sunny days of summer here at the Mid-Missouri Powerhouse, value and sticking to a budget are recurring themes for many drivers. As we are involved in financing and providing the best options for you to get into a new vehicle, we understand that there are many times “too much month left” and not enough finances as you attempt to juggle your duties. The 2024 Chevy Trax was praised last week by the Car and Driver team for being one of the few cars that is now less expensive than the model it replaces.

This complete rebranding of the Trax from a middle-rung subcompact crossover into a value-rich segment leader makes such a powerful statement by prioritizing interior space over features such as rugged styling. The 2024 model comes in a bit longer, lower, and wider than last year’s model, with all trim levels evoking a stylish aesthetic with great-looking wheels, uniquely shaped taillights and headlights, and a grille trim up front that immediately commands attention when you see it comin’!

With the new model’s greater stretched-out shape, rear legroom and cargo space are increased, along with the middle seat offering a more luxurious space for longer trips. The wildly popular side hustle of Uber and Lyft driving would see a practical choice in the Trax, which offers modern technology options and an excellent interior for transporting the travel-weary and hurried passenger. An 8.0-inch touchscreen now comes as standard, with the 11.0-inch central screen offering up the variety of display space currently in demand for the segment.

The driving position in today’s crossovers truly defines how every trip you embark on will feel, and the Trax’s low + car-like stance offers a better option than most of the competition. The ride and handling have a soft enough characteristic to offer comfort on rough roads, while it can still offer enough quality damping to keep body roll at a healthy minimum. Fuel economy is rated at 30 mpg combined, which put the Trax on an even par for a model in its category.

The generous interior, great-looking stance, and useful features for the everyday driver render the Trax incredibly attractive for the price. The universal appeal of 3-cylinder efficiency and an exterior personality that you’d be proud to pull up to any event on your social calendar are standout traits for a car at the lower end of the all-important cost spectrum. The Trax LT upgrades the base 8-inch screen to an 11-inch display, and it also comes with touched-up synthetic leather upholstery for the cloth seats.

The 2RS is basically a combination of the LT and 1RS, while the ACTIV is the only trim with a very convenient power-adjustable driver’s seat. The U.S. News & World Report staff praised the improved materials in the cabin, along with the infotainment software’s ease of use. Other very cool available features are automatic climate control, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster display, proximity keyless entry, remote start, and a sunroof. Some of the standard driver-assistance features included are pedestrian detection, forward automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and the discerning watchful eye of Teen Driver.
