The 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 will offer the powerful and potent naturally aspirated 6.2-Liter V8 L87 gasoline engine in limited availability. The powertrain is rated at 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, and the naturally aspirated 5.3-Liter V8 L84 gas engine is rated at 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. Options for transmission pairing are the GM 8-speed and 10-speed automatic, and both rear-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive are available. On March 3rd, the official online configurator went live for the refreshed 2022 Chevy Silverado, allowing you to customize your ownership with this esteemed new rig that rides faithfully on the GM T1 platform.

GM also officially unveiled the refreshed 2022 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss LT last summer, spotted on roadways complemented perfectly with a Black grille bow tie badge along with red recovery hooks. The lighting spec includes LED reflector headlamps along with LED signature Daytime Running Lamps and Amber tracer animation and LED front fog lamps to illuminate the off-road trail you’re choosing to conquer during any time of night! It also rolls on an excellent set of 20-inch-High gloss Black painted aluminum wheels, lower convex mirrors, integrated turn signals, clearance lamps, and auxiliary lighting.

This year’s Silverado 1500 is full of advanced technologies, better interior materials, and a brand-new off-road-oriented ZR2 Model. The 420-hp ZR2 features 33-inch off-road MT tires, a unique skid plate package, and a high-approach steel front bumper that improves approach angle. Standard safety features on the Silverado 1500 include automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, forward collision alert, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, and automatic high beams.
