New-For-Fall 2019 Files: Chevy Cruze Hatchback's Compact, Revised, and Ready-to-roll Stature

As Back-to-school season approaches and the unbelievable truth that summer is now winding down sets in around the Mid-Missouri Powerhouse, a large number of customers are looking into models that are functional, powerful, and budget-minded. When you can achieve this in a package that still inches long strides forward in front of many competitors, looks as good as any sedan or hatchback on the road, and offers some of the best features in the business, chances are you've got a car on your hands that will be chosen avidly time and time again. The compact car is absolutely one of the best choices for those who are looking forward to a “season of scurry” in their respective metro area, and get a stellar EPA fuel rating while they're at it.

The Chevy Cruz hatchback is on track to see a completely restyled front end, with  new fascia, grille, and headlamps. On the Premier trim will be revised, expressive dual-element taillamps, LED tail lamp lighting available, and new wheel designs. Black window moldings, emblems, and wheels will find their way into the RS package for 2019, and you can select from some new interior colors, including the awesomely-hued Umber. New standard Chevrolet Infotainment 3 radio with 7-inch color touchscreen will be in the front cluster to keep you well-entertained as well as informed, and aptly meets as well as bucks the standard for front-seat distraction and location tech.

All sedan and hatchback models are offered with 1.4L turbo, and 1.6L turbo-diesel engines, and the Cruze sedan will be offered in L, LS, LT, and Premier trims. The 1.4L turbo model features direct injections, which allows for the 0-60 mph sprint in 7.7 seconds. Make sure that you ask us specifically about the RS package: available on LT and Premier, it includes rear spoiler, front fog lamps, sport body kit, and RS ornamentation. On the Premier trim, IntelliBeam automatic headlamp control is now available, and automatic climate control is standard on LT and Premier trims. Onstar with 4G LTE connectivity and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot includes a 3-month/three-gigabyte data trial on every single trim level, a plus that anyone from a busy marketing exec on the go to burgeoning student will do doubt appreciate.

With the new school season in mind and all of the outings that fall may have on its itinerary, the front-running safety features of the Cruze will absolutely be in the spotlight. We tell customers that ten standard airbags including driver and front passenger knee airbags, as well as a standard rear-vision camera will be a great start to assuring safety during every single drive. Standard safety belt pretensioners, and standard Stabili Trak electronic stability control with traction control, rollover mitigation, and anti-lock brakes are other additives that will no doubt give anyone on a highway or city excursion an added boost of confidence. When you visit us at the Powerhouse to look at the new Cruze this fall, also ask us about the Driver Confidence II Package: it provides the addition of IntelliBeam Automatic High-Beam Control, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Rear Park Assist, Following Distance Indicator, Forward Collision Alert, and Low-Speed Forward Automatic Braking!
