Never Short on Convenience: 2021 Chevy Tahoe Boasts Power Sliding Center Console

GM Authority has long been one of the best sources for us here at the Mid-Missouri Powerhouse to keep up on coming features, trends, and release dates to relay back to our customers. Now during the days of summer is a great time to plant your self at the table with a cold beverage and check out the incoming model that may be the ultimate choice for your family! One of the features that are worthy of being highlighted on the next-gen Chevy Tahoe is the new power-sliding center console, which is showcased in this advertisement.

It begins with an exterior shot of the Tahoe, planted outdoors next to a beautiful lake. It is presented in the top-of-the-line High Country trim level, which sees the Power Sliding Center Console included in the Deluxe package. You also get to enjoy a power panoramic sunroof, power-retractable assist steps, Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control, the Max Trailering Package, and Air Ride Adaptive Suspension. After the characters in the ad climb inside, the passenger in the front seat activates an overhead button, which slides the center console towards the passengers behind him in the second row.

The video then explains the way the console can move up to 10 inches, then being able to be useful for a few different purposes. When its positioned all of the ways back, it provides passengers in the rear with two cup holders. It also offers up other storage compartments for essentials such as various groceries, gallons of milk, and hidden compartments for valuables that are better off out of sight. There's also a flat area ideal for a purse, laptop bag, or small traveling backpack. The 2021 Chevy Tahoe will over this awesome new Power Sliding Center Console later this year, and the Suburban and GMC Yukon are supposed to see it added to the lineup as well.

The competition from the fiery and fierce Ford camp has employed a five-link rear suspension that has three lateral links per side and two trailing links. The designers of the Tahoe went with a four-link design using one very long trailing link and another lower lateral link that does the duty of carrying the sprig/damper mount. This is the ingredient that is said to offer up better ride isolation on the Tahoe because of the presence of a bigger bushing where it mounts to the body.

The greater dimensions is the key element that are exciting consumers looking for the new Tahoe: many urban dwellers are looking for a tiny car powered by electricity, but this is for the family that loves recreation and does not have an interest in feeling overly cramped at every turn. When you victoriously haul the boats and other toys out to the lake after a week in the office, The Chevy towing app can store multiple trailer profiles that allow you to keep a close eye on temperature and tire pressure, and make adjustments to the blind spot warning system based on the trailer dimensions.
