Chevy Trailblazer RS Trim Thrives on Unique and Price-Friendly Charm to Secure Immense Holiday Popularity

The 2021 Trailblazer is the character-rich and unique crossover in Chevy's lineup that is situated just in between the Chevy Trax and Equinox, and the quarterly tally delivered to us here at the Mid-Missouri Powerhouse weighs heavily in its favor! Orders from suppliers are currently being thoroughly re-arranged to assure this well-performing SUV reaches the masses in time for much-needed holiday enjoyment. The RS trim is where much of the appreciation is directed towards, and for great reasons.

Getting ready to “drive through a winter wonderland” and take the Trailblazer RS out for a test drive here will offer you the chance to experience the leather-wrapped shift knob, flat-bottom leather-wrapped steering wheel, 18-inch black machined wheels, a black bowtie with black badging, and black mesh grille. Exterior color availability offers you a wide variety of options, and we easily found our favorites while using the online spec tool:  Scarlet Red Metallic and Zeus Bronze Metallic were the two that repeatedly caught our attention.

Adding the Convenience Package rounds out an already-fantastic trim level with the addition of Single-Zone Auto Climate Control Air Conditioning, Sirius XM Radio, 8” Diagonal Touchscreen Display, 120-Volt Power Outlet, and Driver and Front Passenger Illuminated Vanity Mirrors. The Trailblazer is available in L, LS, LT, Activ, and RS trims, seeing all-wheel drive as an option on all but the base L. If you're not quite ready to step up to the RS, the base -level L model arrives well-equipped as standard with the turbo 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine with 137 horsepower, a continuously variable transmission, front-wheel drive, and a 7.0-inch  touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

If you are interested in heating things up just a touch in the power department, the LT trim comes with the more powerful 1.3-liter motor as an option combined with front-wheel drive. This wildly-popular RS trim has taken a large portion of its influence from the new Blazer, but still possesses plenty of its own unique flair. The front-wheel-drive model with the larger 1.3-liter 3-cylinder engine earned ratings of 29 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 31 mpg combined. This compact SUV was built with the consumer in mind that is on the hunt for practical and functional features without a hefty price tag, and so far it has gained enough positive attention to be deemed a massive success.

As you embark on any trip to enjoy the best time of year seeing loved ones or begin a journey home after a long semester of hitting the books, safety during the drive is always priority number one. The Trailblazer includes key safety features such as standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist and lane-departure warning, and available adaptive cruise control. 5 passengers on-board are going to consistently enjoy the technical features and enjoyable comfort level of the Trailblazer RS, and we hope you stop by the Powerhouse this December to see for yourself just what a great gift wrapped up for you by the bowtie brand ourselves will be!
